The perfect way to reward yourself after hiking, snowshoeing, or just playing in the snow is a mug of hot cocoa. This easy recipe is my favorite.
Hot Cocoa
Serves 4
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup water

1/4 cup water
Pinch of salt
4 cups milk (I like a combo of oat and regular for extra creaminess)
1 tsp vanilla
Heat sugar, cocoa powder and water. Boil for a full minute. Add salt and milk and bring to a near boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Refrigerate leftovers.
